Oakland Park Boulevard Water Transmission Main

This project includes the installation of approximately 3,340 linear feet of 30” diameter DIP transmission water main and connections to existing water mains. Also to be installed is approximately 900 linear feet of 30” diameter Fusible PVC by directional drill technique with appurtenances and all restoration.

Completed Improvements

·         The contractor has installed 1,000 feet of pipe from NE 30 Place and Bayview Drive, eastbound. The work crews are now at the point where they will begin directional drilling under the Intracoastal Waterway.

 Remaining Improvements

·         The contractor is waiting on permits in order to continue construction work.
