River Oaks Area 6 – Basin C and E

This project consists of the installation of about 6,730 LF of gravity sewer with manholes, 4,585 LF of water main and all restoration.

Completed Improvements

·         The contractor installed all sewer main lines and laterals from SW 19 Avenue to SW 17 Terrace between SW 23 Street and 24 Street.

·         All new drainage is complete on:

• SW 18 Avenue between SW 23 Street and SW 24 Street
• SW 23 Street between SW 18 Avenue and SW 17 Terrace
• SW 17 Terrace between SW 23 Street and SW 24 Street

·         All asphalt paving is complete on:

• SW 24 Street between SW 19 Avenue and SW 17 Avenue
• SW 18 Terrace and SW 19 Avenue between SW 23 Street and SW 24 Street
• SW 23 Street between SW 19 Avenue and SW 18 Avenue

Ongoing Improvements

·         On SW 23 Street between SW 18 Avenue and SW 17 Terrace, the contractor:

• Installed all catch basins, junction boxes and drainage pipes

• Is currently restoring this area

·         On SW 18 Avenue between SW 24 Street and SW 23 Street, the contractor:

• Installed all catch basins, junction boxes and drainage pipes
• Completed limerock restoration

• Is currently working on road restoration

·         On SW 17 Terrace between SW 24 Street and SW 23 Street, the contractor:

• Installed all catch basins, junction boxes and drainage pipes

·         On SW 18 Avenue between SW 23 Street and SW 20 Street, the contractor:

• Completed the milling of existing road surface between SW 23 Street and SW 22 Street
• Is currently placing PVC sanitary sewer pipe and service laterals. The work is 40 percent complete between SW 23 Street and SW 22 Street.
