Ongoing Improvements

·         In the area of SW 28 Avenue between SW 14 Street and the end of roadway construction:

• Manholes and sewer pipe have been installed
• Base and sub-base road restoration is complete between SW 14 Street and SW 16 Street
• Ductile Iron Pipe (DIP) laterals are complete to the east side
• Current activities in this area include brick pavers restoration and completion of base and sub-base road restoration along SW 28 Avenue
• Future work in this area includes asphalt restoration and testing

·         In the area of SW 29 Terrace between SW 14 Street and SW 16 Street:

• The contractor has installed:  

§         Manholes 49, 50, 51 and 52

§         965’ of sewer pipe

§         320’ of forcemain

§         Sub Base/Limerock Base/Pavement starting on SW 17 Street for approximately 300’

§         5 single DIP laterals and 1 double DIP laterals

o        Current activities in this area include the installation of PVC sewer between SW 16 Street and SW 14 Street 

o        Future work includes:

§         Forcemain completion

§         Air Release Valve (ARV) installation

§         PVC sewer installation between manhole 50 and 33 (about 300’)

§         Manhole 33 installation

§         Restoration
